Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to perform physical demanding tasks, including lifting and bending
- Background check is required
- Must have previous experience
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to
- Maintain cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces
- Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Including making beds, changing linens,
- vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and mopping floors and Buff Floors
- Dust & clean furniture, windows, etc.
- Ensuring that all areas are disinfected according to health department guidelines, particularly in high-touch areas like bathrooms and kitchens.
- Restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, etc.
- Remove trash & recycle materials from all areas
- Deep clean carpet or window washing
- Report major repairs to maintenance staff & ensure proper care of cleaning equipment
- Following safety procedures by ensuring the safe storage of cleaning supplies & chemicals
Skills and Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: A good housekeeper must be detail-oriented to ensure that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
- Physical Stamina: The role often requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods, so physical fitness is important.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with guests and other staff members.
Wage Ranges: 16/hr – 18/hr
